Approach
Between the unconscious and neuroscience
I am a Lacanian-oriented psychoanalyst, a graduate of the École des Hautes Études Pratiques en Psychopathologie in Paris (EPHEP, Qualiopi certified) and holder of the Freudian Studies Certificate from Université Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis — trained in the very department of psychoanalysis founded by Jacques Lacan in the 1960s. I also hold a Master's degree in philosophy (2004) and trained in criminology, which deepens my understanding of the most complex psychic dimensions. My clinical experience extends beyond the classical analytic setting: I have worked with several psychiatric practices as a psycho-evaluator, developing expertise in assessment and in the complementarity of clinical approaches.
Deeply rooted in the psychoanalytic tradition, I also have a strong interest in American approaches to trauma. I studied with Mark Wolynn (author of It Didn't Start With You), which allows me to articulate a clinical perspective that is rigorous in its theoretical foundations and open to contemporary work on intergenerational transmission and traumatic memory.
The seminar took place in San Francisco and was conducted entirely in English, which presented no difficulty, as I also welcome English-speaking patients.
My clinical work has also included psychometric testing in psychiatric settings, administering and interpreting assessments for patients with suspected ADHD, burnout, or mixed clinical pictures combining both.
EPHEP is QUALIOPI certified. This evaluative practice trained me in rigorous differential diagnosis and the identification of comorbidities.
Philosophy
«Intheageofscrolling,philosophyiswhatallowsmetoarticulatethesedifferentstrands.»
Master's in philosophy, 2004
Philosophy is not a theoretical ornament to analytic practice: it is a foundational ground. With a Master's in philosophy, I have developed conceptual rigour and familiarity with the metaphysical questions that run through Freud's work and Lacan's teaching.
Freud is constantly in dialogue with Plato, Nietzsche, Schopenhauer. Lacan calls on Hegel, Descartes, Kant, Heidegger. Without a solid philosophical formation, an essential part of their elaborations remains opaque.

Criminology
The unconscious dimensions of acting out
Far from a purely legal or sociological approach to crime, psychoanalytic criminology asks what, in the very structure of the subject, makes transgression possible — or necessary. What the criminal acts in the real, the so-called ordinary subject represses, displaces, and transforms into a symptom.
